Leadership Skill Building: GPIN is nationally recognized for its innovative approach to leadership skill building. The Network provides a safe environment where leaders learn from each other and nationally recognized experts through interactive plenary sessions, workshops and conference calls. Essential topics, such as, leading change, strategic thinking, managing group conflict and the medical group culture are core components of leadership education. These efforts often focus on complex topics that are examined over a period of time.

Clinical & Administrative Process Improvement: GPIN is committed to searching out and sharing clinical and administrative best practices among its members. The Network is working in concert with its founding organization, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, to explore and develop designs for ideal physician practice systems. We look for practice innovations that achieve significant improvement in performance and are relevant to today's urgent social needs for better, higher-value health care.

Leveraging Medical Group Partnerships: To ensure an optimal networking experience, GPIN limits its membership. With this in mind, the Network considers for membership those group practices that are customer-focused, process-oriented and data-driven. The Network's innovative approach has attracted the finest medical groups in the nation.

Network Communication: By taking advantage of the World Wide Web, GPIN keeps members connected even though they may be thousands of miles apart. The Web Site offers a password-protected area called GNet, which allows members to access the GPIN Membership Directory. Our Q & A Forum offers an opportunity for GPIN members to pose questions regarding group practice issues and receive input from fellow members.
